Founded in 1911 by our parents and grandparents, who migrated from Santo Stefano di Camastra, in the Province of Messina, on the island of Sicily to the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey, the Sicilian-American Holy Cross Society continues to share many of the same cultural traits and traditions of our ancestors.
Today, many of the descendants of our original founders continue the Sicilian traditions and celebrate our heritage at an annual festival at Holy Cross Park in Easton, PA. Please join us on the second weekend in September as we continue the tradition of our ancestors and pay tribute to our historical roots. And now, help us enjoy the most authentic Sicilian Food Festival in the region.
The Holy Cross Society meets the Second Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM at Holy Cross Park. Only fully elected members, IN GOOD STANDING, are allowed to meeting. All members are expected to participate in the celebration, with work beginning the second Monday in September.
